I love when Shopbop releases their ultimate closet.  This particular collection was a favorite.

Sprint Tri Training
A friend and I are planning on running a Sprint Triathlon in August.  We are attempting to base our training off this prospective schedule. Hopefully, we stay on task. Source: http://www.fitsugar.com/Sprint-Tri-Training-Schedule-1509462

Inspiration Board.
Source: Coach twitter “Here’s a sneak peek at the “Sweet Whimsy” inspiration board behind @byEmily’s new satchel” This bag is precious, simple, sophisticated, and quite frankly, useful (Hello long strap and zipper pockets.) I love it.

An Oldie but a Goodie.
I have not shopped at A&F in a looong time.  I was always a fan of their comfy yet cute and laid back American style, but the ridiculous prices and sometimes poor quality were such turn offs. Nevertheless, I can’t help but be tempted by these dresses and rompers.  I am not even a romper fan, but I love a good combo of pinstripes, ruffles, and bows.

AC360
When I graduated college, I was like Okay I can finally start reading books that aren’t textbooks again. “Dispatches from the Edge” by Anderson Cooper was my first book.  It was incredibly inspiring. Today I stumbled upon his commencement speech for Tulane Class of 2010.  I noticed that he reused a few antidotes from when he came to my school to speak to us a few years ago.  I...

A Breakdown of My MiniBreak.
I went away for the weekend: This little guy greeted me with purrs and headbutts. I have never been a cat person, but I love him so much. Skimmed some books like these in preparation for the Boys road trip to LA. We walked the dogs to the local pond and fed the turtles some bread. As we were leaving, we saw this little family of ducks.  I wanted a picture of them walking in a line a la...

One Small Step ...
Growing up in central Florida you just got used to shuttle chatter and sonic booms.  Everyone took a field trip at some point to the Kennedy Space Center to play in the shuttle playground and to taste dried ice cream.  On Friday, Atlantis took off for its final mission. I managed to get a picture of it. No sonic boom, but maybe on its return.

Closet lust
Tory Burch’s closet:   (Sorry I don’t have sources for all of the others! I have a bad habit of impulsively saving pics.)     Conclusion: I want a big closet with plenty of rod space to hang clothes, shelf space for shoes and purses, and drawers for everything else. I love love love them all!

Current shopbop lemmings...
Obviously, I did not scan the whole website to find what I wanted, but this includes a decent variety.         In conclusion, a mix of pretty and comfy.

Up
Up was such a good movie full of lessons about love, family, and friendship.  I saw it in theaters, and I was not expecting it to be so fun and enjoyable!  It’s not just for kids. Warning: bring a tissue! Bravo Pixar for another hit!

Read your heart out.
I borrowed 2 books from the library a few weeks ago and have literally touched neither.  They will probably expire soon.  Over the weekend, I picked up a few more books at the used book sale. I love reading.  I have been enjoying reading blogs daily. I just have not been able to force myself to sit down and read.  I have not decided yet if I am being lazy or just showing signs of ADD.

I wear my sunglasses at night.
I wanted to post some outfits that I have saved on my laptop. I am loving the nautical vibes from Kate Moss. And, of course, sunglasses complete every outfit. For fun, here’s a pic of Shannon. Skinny jeans, leather jacket, and shades = the perfect outfit for boys and girls ;)

Everything is going to be alright.
(pic via we heart it) “We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life we have waiting for us” - E.M. Foster. Reassuring comfort for a recent college grad.  I have learned in the past year that you will go through quite a few jobs before you find the right career. Until then, I will just keep chugging along.

Run for the Roses
(pic via we heart it) Last year my friends and I hosted a Kentucky Derby party.  There is just something so lovely about big hats, pretty dresses, and tasty drinks. I will not be sporting a big hat this year, but I will definitely catch the race on tv!

Into the Wild Tour 2010
Such an amazing concert!  It sold out, so it was pretty crowded.  Luckily, we had pretty decent places to stand, so we could see.  I was definitely that annoying Wooo girl, but it was totally worth it. I was also pleasantly surprised by the opening act Neon Trees too. They made me want to jump around and dance like a fool. Always a good feeling from a band…
